"My name is Alex Jackson. I'm an undergraduate student in the United States studying mathematics. I attended the intensive courses at CUEF for 4 months at the beginning of 2022. I miss the CUEF environment and friends very much as I write this testimonial at home in Colorado. I began my studies at CUEF at B1.0 level. With the classmates who became friends, we progressed to B2! The teachers are also competent and patient. They always gave us full corrections and were very available. There were occasional less active or informative moments in the twenty-hour-a-week courses, but the administrative team at CUEF listens well to students and they are always looking for course improvements. CUEF gave me the confidence to stop speaking English my last two months in France. When I stopped speaking English, I immediately improved my level in French. Thanks to CUEF I obtained the DELF B2 certificate. When I started at CUEF I couldn't communicate in French, but now I can converse with people who don't speak English. I've also acquired a new way of dealing with a new group of people. For all this I'm really happy."
