CUEFUniversity Center for French Studies

I arrived in France a year and a half ago with my family, that is, my children and my husband, who is studying for a doctorate atUniversité Grenoble Alpes.

I come from Mexico City, Mexico.

Initially, I started my studies at CUEF face-to-face (from November 2019 to March 2020) but unfortunately, due to confinement I had to stop. I found distance learning courses and started taking them from September 2020. I'm very happy with my distance courses because I organize myself with my schedule and I find that the teaching is just as high quality with the same teachers but with the comfort of our home!

CUEF is a great place to meet people of different nationalities and make friends. I have two friends who I met in my face-to-face classes. Before the lock-in, we walked around different places in and around Grenoble. I like to discover other cities when we have time to do so.
I like a lot of things in France, like wine, cheese, bread, its beautiful cities, its culture. I like to climb the Bastille from Grenoble.

I really miss my family and friends in Mexico and... real tacos too!
