The University Center for French Studies - Université Grenoble Alpes a DELF and DALF examination center, relays information provided by France Éducation International, the public institution responsible for officially awarding DELF (Diplôme d’Études en Langue Française) and DALF (Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française) concerning a cybersecurity incident that affected the GAEL platform, used for the administrative management of DELF and DALF diplomas.

This incident, which occurred between Friday, January 9, and Monday, January 12, 2026, resulted in a breach of the confidentiality of certain personal data of candidates and successful applicants.

France Éducation international, in its capacity as data controller, reports that it immediately took the necessary measures to secure the platform and limit the impact of this cyberattack.
