Would you like to become a teacher of French as a foreign language (FLE)? FIFLE (Formation d'initiation à l'enseignement du FLE) is the first step towards realizing your dream!
This intensive one-month summer course provides the theoretical and practical foundations needed to apply for a Master 1 FLES degree. It is suitable for both initial and continuing education students, particularly in the context of professional retraining.

Applications for Master 1 FLES 2026-2027 must be submitted on the Mon Master platform, from February 17 to March 16, 2026.

Prerequisites :

Hold a Licence 3 (or have a VAPP).
For international candidates, a validated C1 language level, according to the CEFR.
Interested parties should submit their CV and covering letter to the CUEF PRO+ program manager, Caroline Sperandio.

Program (96h) :

Educational content
Approach to FLE methodology (12 hours)
Introduction to linguistics (14 hours)
Introduction to assessment (10 hours)
Introduction to a new language (10 hours)
Perspective on the experience of learning a completely new language (6 hours)
Understanding grammar to teach it better (10 hours)
Designing a lesson plan (10 hours)
Leading a class with digital technology (6 hours)

Class observation
Class observation (16 hours + 2 hours of tutoring)

Assessment :

Two exams: introduction to linguistics and approach to FLE methodology
A certificate of completion or follow-up will be issued at the end of the course.
