Use your immediate environment to get people talking and create group cohesion (4.5h)

Caroline Sperandio

Target learner levels A1 to B2 levels.

Training objectives The aim of this workshop is to introduce participants to new ways of creating cohesion in a class group, while encouraging oral interaction and using the space around them: the language center (outside the classroom).
  • In the library: Poems by titles

Everyone is invited to compose a poem using book titles to introduce themselves orally. All the pedagogical stages of this creative activity will be experienced by the teacher with a view to reusing it in class with his or her pupils.

  • Around the center

In this part of the workshop, we'll be looking at how we can use our environment (the language center) to create activities that encourage oral interaction while creating group cohesion. After experimenting with these activities themselves, participants will then be able to make a reflective analysis of these practices.
