This workshop is intended for teachers of French as a foreign language who wish to develop teaching materials to incorporate into their lesson plans.
Objectives
Reviewing the Concepts of Progression and Coherence in a Instructional Unit
Design the outline for a series of lessons that is part of a teaching unit (communicative objectives, linguistic objectives, and sociocultural objectives).
Create a lesson that is part of this unit:
Select an authentic document that is appropriate for the target level and objectives
Using Authentic Documents for Instructional Purposes (Creating a Listening and Reading Comprehension Worksheet)
Use authentic texts as a corpus for observing the linguistic elements to be acquired (adopt an inductive approach to grammar)
Create grammar and vocabulary exercises (of various types and tailored to the students' needs)
Designing topics for oral and written assignments
How we work
Teachers will have the opportunity to work individually or in small groups to apply the theory covered throughout the training in a very practical way.
