These are official qualifications awarded by the French Ministry of National Education, which certifies the French skills of international candidates.
The 6 qualifications are consistent with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
At each level the following five language-related activities are assessed: listening comprehension, spoken interaction, spoken production, written comprehension and writing. Candidates apply to the examination of their choice.
