With intensive language courses, progress in five skill areas:
- Written and oral comprehension
- Written and oral production
- Interaction
Students
All levels, from beginner to C2
Objective
To develop your written and oral communication skills, to interact in real-life French communication situations.
Assignment into groups
When you first enrol, you will sit an online positioning test, so that we can assign you to a suitable group for your level.
Pedagogical approach
Classes are provided by qualified teachers who work together with a given group.
The teaching materials are varied, and the themes adapted to the level. The teaching materials used in class make students active participants in their own learning.
In order to add creativity and project pedagogy in the intensive course, Fridays can be dedicated to language practice workshops starting from A2 level. Examples:
A2: phonetics, creative writing, etc.
B1: literature and cinema, theatre, etc.
B2: intercultural, etc.
Evaluation
Evaluation is in the form of assessments throughout the semester across the four skills. A personal effort grade is also awarded at the end of the session.
A certificate indicating the level achieved is awarded at the end of each monthly session.
