Day to Day French Courses

Education

We offer a conversational French course on Friday mornings from 9.30 am to 1.30 pm, for the 15-week semester.
Classes opened subject to minimum enrolments.

Students

For people living in the Grenoble region who need to develop their skills for everyday communication.
From A1 level achieved.

Objective

To develop your written and oral communication skills to interact in everyday situations, while covering cultural aspects.

Pedagogical approach

Classes are provided by qualified teachers.
The varied teaching materials and methods make students active participants in their own learning.

Evaluation

Evaluation is in the form of assessments throughout the semester across the four skills (oral and written comprehension and production).

Certificate

A course certificate is provided at the end of the semester. It includes your hours of class attendance and the level achieved in oral and written French.

- Hours: 60 hours / semester; 4 hours / week (with teaching interruptions – check the page Calendar and prices)
- Fridays (and two Thursdays in September) from 9.30 am to 1.30 pm

- Enrolment provides access to UGA free-access computer rooms, the Bulles library and cultural activities organised by the CUEF Cultural Centre
Conditions for enrolment and payment
Pre-register with the CUEF Welcome and Student Life Department
The fees to be paid at the beginning of each semester are:
- €200 of pre-registration fees per semester (non-refundable, deduced from the total course cost)
- €20 of application fees per university year (non-refundable)
- class fees: Semester 1 = €620 (from 9 September to 17 December 2021) / Semester 2 = €620 (from 14 February to 20 May 2022)

NB: Courses must be paid for in full at the start of the course. Payment in full is due for any course started.
