Objectives
Develop written and oral communication skills to interact in real-life situations in French.
Acquire basic knowledge of French culture and society.
Details
- The intensive monthly courses are held in person every month, except in August.
- Classes are 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday, which equals 20 hours per week and a total of 80 hours per month.
- In general, classes take place in half-day sessions (morning or afternoon, depending on the group), from Monday to Friday.
- Groups consist of a maximum of 18 students (subject to a minimum number of participants). Starting from September 2025:
- 72 hours* of language classes per month, plus 8 hours of non-supervised activities. A list of proposed activities will be provided to students each month.
*Based on a 4-week session (see calendar and fees).
Assessment
Assessment is by continuous assessment of the 4 skills. A grade is also awarded at the end of the session. A certificate indicating the level achieved is issued at the end of each monthly session.
Public
All levels, from beginner A1 to CEFR C2.
Group assignment
When you first register, you take an online placement test which enables us to assign you to a group suited to your level. This test can be supplemented by an oral interview (in person or by zoom).
