Envol Project: Newly Arrived Students, Destination Language

Following a call for projects won by ADCUEFE Campus FLE, the CUEF is contributing to a process of creating an Academic French (FOU) course as part of a project called Etudiants Nouveaux Venus, Objectif Langue or ENVOL (Newly Arrived Students - Destination Language).
The pedagogical aim of this project is to create FOU modules aimed at international students enrolled in various faculties at French universities, to help them integrate into the university environment and acquire linguistic, discursive and other skills needed for their studies in their area of specialisation.
The pedagogical modules are based around:
• Discovering the French university environment
• Becoming familiar with academic expectations
• Understanding academic exercises
• Developing discipline-specific knowledge
