Since September 1st 2024, a brand new management team has taken office and we are glad to introduce them to you:
Catherine Carras is our new director!
18 years ago, Catherine began her career as a lecturer in Language Sciences and in French as a foreign language (FLE) in the CUEF of the UGA. From 2006 to 2009, she was the CUEF deputy director and was in charge of the training courses for trainers. Catherine never really left the CUEF since she continued to teach FLE courses in our center, and has regularly carried out teacher training missions.
Isabelle Marchionini and Caroline Sperandio are our two new deputy directors.
Isabelle, a FLE teacher for around 30 years and at the CUEF since 2017, has extensively worked abroad to practice her profession with very diverse audiences. Since 2021, she has been director of studies for the UGA foreign students’ courses. She is also passionate about art and is keen to share her passion with her learners, by offering specific courses focused on culture as well as creative activities in FLE classes.
Caroline, FLE teacher for more than 20 years at the CUEF and the CUEF pro + manager since 2022, is also a trainer of trainers (initiation and improvement of FLE) and a book designer. She recently participated in the design of the new edition of Édito A1, A2 and B1 as an author and as an educational coordinator for the first two levels.
Eve Terrein is still our administrative director at the CUEF. Eve has coordinated all administrative activities since 2019 and she supports the teaching teams in their functions.
